Sharing Our Common Interest - Plants

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.
Words of hope from an inspired Book ... more...

Roots. Dormant roots. Roots than can surviving a severe winter, buried in the ground, repetitively getting frozen, then getting defrosted. Then, BAM! A little bit of sun warms the earth and air and a cornucopia of shoots begin to reach skyward. However, not a one sings the same note but completes a choir of foliage singing to their creator.

My interest in plants is generated out of amazement over the handiwork of the Creator of the heavens and earth. And my amazement just does not stop there.

The most amazing thing is that this same God also created us with a root that is meant to take root in Him, to enjoy Him and to have a relationship with Him.

I have found my life fulfillment by understanding that Jesus Christ has paved the way for us to approach a Holy God.  Jesus paid the penalty for my sins by His death on that cross 2000 years ago.  His resurrection on that Easter morning gives me hope eternal knowing that there is an eternity to spend with God.  All we have to do is to confess that we are sinners before a Holy God and that the only way to heaven is by accepting the truth of what Jesus Christ did 2000 years ago for us.

Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved....................

         Heavenly Father:..........................................................................
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of
my Sins.  I confess with my mouth and believe with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the
Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have
Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven.  Father, I believe
that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now
to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and
Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the
day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth, I confess
with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus!   In Jesus Name, Amen.
