Name: Hosta 'Great Expectations'

Description: A variegated mutation of H. sieboldians 'Elegans' discovered in England in a very long and very old line of hosta clumps. In spring the leaf center is a bright golden yellow but later turns white. Reports/melting out during white phase late summer. This hosta is on the front cover of the Paul Aden's Hosta book. Wide sea green edges surround the golden yellow center. Great masses of white flowers in the summer. A viewing joy!
