Description: (p.k.a. Carex elata 'Bowles Golden') A beautiful golden grass with graceful bending leaves. The great gold color really brightens up darker locations using specimens or masses. Also has faint, random longitudinal green stripes. Yellow color is most intense in full sun. For best appearance, it must be supplied with constant moisture (even slightly submerged 2-3" deep). A great performer and a must to have in your collection. Burns if too dry. Spring growth is particularly striking.
