Description: This superb seeding of Panicum v. 'Shenandoah' is extremely red! People of mistaken th is grass for Japanese Blood Grass. Backlit by the sun, it can look like a glowing red sunset, thus the name. Like most Panicums, it begins it's season green and later changes to red. The habit is similar to Panicum 'Prairie Fire' but less height.
