BIOFUNGICIDE

PRO-MIX 'BX'/BIOFUNGICIDE is a "general purpose" peat-based growing medium with vermiculite and perlite, used for the cultivation of a wide variety of plant species. The biofungicide in our choosen soil product is called Subtilex®, a beneficial bacterium (Bacillus subtilis-MBI 600) that provides a broad spectrum of action against root diseases including Pythium, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium among others. It also acts as a bio-stimulant. The fungicide attaches itself to the plant's roots protecting them from soil borne fungus.
